Printful’s official Privacy Policy for the UK and Europe strictly complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
👤 Data Collected About You (The Merchant)
- Identifiers: Your name, email, billing address, phone number, and account password.
- Payment Details: Bank card numbers or billing profiles used to fund your Printful Wallet.
- Business Info: Your online store URL, connection keys (APIs), VAT registration number, or official corporate identification.
📦 Customer Data (Your Buyers)
- Legal Roles: You are the Data Controller and Printful is the Data Processor.
- Fulfillment Scope: Printful only processes your customer's name, phone number, and physical shipping address to print and deliver the order.
- Policy Obligation: Because you pass this information to Printful, your own UK storefront must feature a clear privacy policy letting customers know you use a third-party print provider.
🛡️ Sharing, Safety, and Cross-Border Transfers
- No Data Selling: Printful does not sell your customer contact lists or personal data to outside brokers.
- Logistics Partners: They only share data with essential logistics partners (like Royal Mail, Evri, or DPD) and secured payment processors (like Stripe) to execute your orders.
- Data Hosting: Because Printful, Inc. is based in the USA, data is transferred outside the UK. They protect this transfer using standard contractual clauses (SCCs) to maintain legal data safety.
📑 Data Rights & Deletion
- UK GDPR Rights: You and your customers have the right to access, correct, or completely erase personal data from Printful's servers.
- Removal Inquiries: To request data deletion or review what information is stored, you can email
